For last night’s Red Carpet Premiere of Deep Gold in 3D it was lights, camera, action and more action. Cast members Jaymee Ong, Amelia Jackson-Gray, and Laury Prudent joined writer-director Michael Gleissner at the Bigfoot Crest Theater in Westwood.

Special guest celebrities like Tiffany Hines, who kicks butt and takes names on her hit CW show, Nikita, Lennie James from the crime thriller Snatch, and Ernie Hudson, who talked about the possibility of a Ghostbusters III coming to life in the near future, came for the action. Courtney Davies from America’s Next Top Model: Cycle 13 showed us how to pose on the red carpet, Ken Davitian (Borat) was a riot, and red carpet favorite Cedric Sanders (Things Fall Apart), as always, made a killer fashion statement.

Indie action film DEEP GOLD in 3D opens nationwide in select theaters.

No great action movie is complete without gorgeous women, and last night’s premiere was no exception.  Red Carpet stunners included Grace Johnston (Once More with Feeling), Laura Waddell (Will & Kate), Ashley Avis (Miami Vice), Mercedes Brito (The Casting Office), Jennifer Blanc (The Divide), Sara Maraffino (The Attic), Frida Farrell (Behind Your Eyes), Sarah Lassez (The Dead Issue), actress Catherine Thuy Ai (Miss Hong Kong), Cerina Da Graca, Sheree Wilson (Walker, Texas Ranger), Beverly Leech (Surf School), and model Ann Lauren.

Yamato hosted the after party where guests were treated to sushi and cocktails galore and even more celebrities joined the lively crowd including actor Tony Denison (The Closer), Comedian Craig Shoemaker and model/actor Myc Agnew.

DEEP GOLD, produced by Bigfoot Entertainment, Inc., is very possibly the first Indie film in 3D, and shot entirely on the lush island of Cebu, Philippines. The story follows Amy Sanchez, (International model-actresses Bebe Pham), a champion free diver who, along with her sister Jess (Jaymee Ong) finds herself thrown into the middle of a deadly conspiracy.

DEEP GOLD 3D opened nationwide April 22nd at The Bigfoot Crest Theater (1262 Westwood Boulevard Los Angeles, CA) and exclusive engagements in Los Angeles and Orange County are scheduled.
